She lived a remarkable life, staying active even in this last year. She was a retired manager for Beall’s department store in
Grace was known to bless everyone with handmade items from needlepoint to dish cloths. She loved animals and could often be found spoiling them with extra cuddles and treats. She was also a member of
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Frederick; brother, Warren Heywood; son, Gerald Burnell; and grandson, Bruce Davis.
Grace is survived by her daughter, Judy Davis and husband, Norman of Gainesville, FL; sisters, Alma Herndon and husband, John and Nancy Merrill and husband, Doug both of Englewood, FL; granddaughter, Cindy Ragan and husband, Rick of Holiday Island, AR; grandson, Chris Davis and wife, Melanie Cash of Gainesville, FL; granddaughters, Danielle Burnell and Megan Burnell; grandson, Tanner Burnell of GA; several great grandchildren; nieces and nephews; and her beloved 18-pound cat, Bear.
She did not want a service, and instead asks that you go have fun gambling and/or enjoying a dessert with a cup of coffee and share happy stories of her life.
