Norma Jean Ashley, 86, of Rogers, Arkansas died Saturday, December 21, 2019 in Rogers. She was born September 25, 1933 in Oklahoma to John and Cordelia (McClane) Holman.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Ashley; sons, Billy Wilson, Jimmy Wilson; one daughter, Sharon Davis and six siblings, Richard Holman, Charles Holman, Oval Bird, Orine Amerson, Cyde Junior Holman and Barbara Gates.
Norma was a very patient and kind hearted woman and she cared greatly for her family and friends. It was important to her that everyone around her was happy and loved. She had to be a mother and father for her children because father wasn't really around much. Christmas was her favorite time of the year and if you were fortunate enough to be born before Christmas well you were sure to get spoiled. She always had the best decorations inside and out.
Norma loved her dogs Mia and sassy. They were her babies and she was quite the gambler before her health took its toll.
She is survived by three children, son, Shane Wilson of Rogers; daughters, Jeanette Wesson and husband, Rick of Garfield, Sandy Wesson of Rogers; sister, Linda White and husband, Bob of Bella Vista, Ark; twelve grandchildren, Janet Rose, Richard, Wesson, Jr., Billie Wesson, Amy Souza, Mindi Stewart, Amanda Flynn, Jimmy Wilson, Jr., Amber Davis, Carl Davis, Chad Wilson, Shanna Wilson; many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
